In other news... I am about to embark on a small adventure, entirely for fun. I will be leaving Hub in charge of the girls, by himself, for an entire weekend!
Hub is an amazing father, and I have every faith in him.
Also, I am gleefully anticipating that he will finally understand what it is to be the all-on, all-the-time parent for 48 hours, and might cut me a little more slack in the coming weeks. More likely, he'll try to prove to me that being the all-on, all-the-time parent isn't as hard as I claim by doing a few loads of laundry and keeping well up on the dishes and cooking.
Let's hope he both proves me wrong by being a super-dad, and also, secretly, deep-down, is exhausted by Monday.

If you find this weekend to be restful and rejuvenating and find you like taking a few days away..... and hub says it was oh so easy to be the sole parent for the weekend... I hope you'll make time for yourself to get away a little more often.
