Writing Your Grief

I'm participating in a 30 day online writing course from the fine people at refuge in grief.

This means that I will be writing about grief every day all month.  I haven't yet decided how much of this to share on my blog.  Thirty straight days of grief work isn't my idea of great entertainment.  And there is so much good and happy in my life right now that I don't want to worry readers into thinking that I'm dominated by loss.  So this is the heads-up!  If you notice more grief stuff than usual, it is because of this class I am taking, and not because of any personal crisis.  I will try to title the grief essays so that you can skip them if you want to, or seek them out if you're navigating your own grief journey.  And maybe, just maybe, I will find extra time to write simply because I have carved time out of my day for the course.  Perhaps all of this practice will even improve my writing.  Let's hope!
