Gratuitous Cuteness

Posting a video of my adorable Elsie as a big thank-you for everyone's patience while I was writing, re-writing, defending, and recovering from my thesis and not updating here. 

Go on, tell me that isn't the cutest thing you've seen today!  First she sang the song, and I took a movie, then I played the movie and she sang along again!

Elsie's music and language skills are taking off these days.  She can consistently match two notes on the solfege scale, I think it's fa and sol (F and G), and she shouts "pino pino!" when she hears piano solos or concertos.  The Wheels on the Bus get the thumbs up "Like dat song!" as did a symphony of Hayden's in the car the other day and the classic favorite C is for Cookie. Too bad we don't actually feed her cookies.
